Historic gardener (and Monticello’s curator of plants) Peggy Cornett gardens for many reasons, but perhaps the main one, is that gardens are where she feels at home. She and some historic greenery appear at the Monticello Heritage Harvest Festival.
Her book is Popular Annuals of Eastern North America, 1865-1914.
