Audrey Wood, a middle school student at North Branch School in Afton, was one of 6 national winners of the Library of Congress annual competition, "Letters About Literature."

This is a huge deal, as there were 67,000 entries.

Audrey's prize-winning letter was to J.M. Barrie, author of Peter Pan.

As she talks about magic, which does claim close kin with creativity, her letter makes a perfect way to end this inaugural program.

Marth Woodroof has retired from WMRA and is now spending her time as a full-time writer and published author.
