Luanne Austin is a freelance writer who lives in Mount Sidney. She was on staff at the Daily News-Record for 16 years and continues to write a weekly column for the paper. She also writes and edits film scripts, web content, educational materials and magazine stories.  Her areas of interest include people, health, nature, the arts, culture and spirituality. Reporting for WMRA is Luanne’s first venture into radio.
