Wireless Coverage
The Valley Voice broadcasts over the air on a low-power FM SUBCARRIER (SCA) signal carried "piggyback" style on Public Radio WMRA's standard FM signal. The SUBCARRIER signal cannot be heard on typical radios — instead the VALLEY VOICE buys and lends out special receivers to medically-qualified people.
This wireless subcarrier service provides coverage to most of Rockingham, August and Shenandoah counties, excluding some areas that are shielded by mountainous terrain. Coverage is also available in much of Charlottesville City and Albemarle and Nelson Counties.

Additionally you may find Valley Voice on select channels of many cable systems in the Shenandoah Valley. In many cases the audio is aired on already-existing community access channels.

- Waynesboro & Vicinity Adelphia Channel 22, which is the Waynesboro Public Schools Channel
- Shenandoah County Shentel Channel 66, dedicated to the Valley Voice
- Summit Square Home Sunnyside in-house Channel 38
