You may have heard that funding to keep Virginia government running later this year is currently caught in the middle of a bitter debate.
The disagreement is over Medicaid and healthcare coverage for the poor. So far that disagreement has prevented passage of a new state budget.
Two Republican lawmakers, who are on different sides of this issue, have agreed to share their perspectives.
Richard “Dickie” Bell - Republican member of the Virginia House of Delegates representing the 20th District, which includes the cities of Staunton and Waynesboro; the county of Highland; plus portions of Augusta and Nelson.
