On March 14, 2017 at 7pm, at Pale Fire Brewing Co. in Harrisonburg, our next Books & Brews features author Ben Montgomery discussing the inspiring story of Emma Gatewood, and her thru hike of the Appalachian Trail.
** Due to the overwhelming success of our Books and Brews series, we have issued free tickets to ensure space at the event. At this point, all tickets have been claimed. These tickets will be honored at Pale Fire Brewing Company beginning at 5:30pm, and up to 6:15pm on the night of the event. If you arrive before 6:15 and present your ticket, you will get in. Please note that after 6:15pm, we will open the event to anyone and tickets will no longer guarantee you a spot.
The Mashita Food Truck will also be present that night, and offers Korean inspired dishes that accommodate all; including those with gluten-free & vegetarian preferences.
With our Books and Brews events, when you present your WMRA MemberCard, you'll receive a certificate for a complimentary beer.
Ben Montgomery is a reporter for the Tampa Bay Times and author of the NYT bestselling 'Grandma Gatewood's Walk: The Inspiring Story of the Woman Who Saved the Appalachian Trail' and the newly-released 'The Leper Spy: The Story of an Unlikely Hero of World War II.'
