Meghann McCoy

Business Manager

Meghann grew up in the Shenandoah Valley and graduated from the University of Virginia in 2011. While at UVa, she volunteered at WUVA-FM and interned in the marketing department at John Paul Jones Arena. She first joined WMRA in May 2013 as Administrative Assistant, and has served as Business Manager since 2014. Meghann handles the station's accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as annual reporting for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Outside of work, Meghann volunteers at the Massanutten Regional Library, occasionally plays the keyboard, and always supports the Virginia Cavaliers. She has a rescue cat named Ollie.

WMRA is once again heading to Wolf Trap on Saturday, May 28, for a live broadcast performance of A Prairie Home Companion.

This will be Garrison Keillor’s final live appearance at Wolf Trap before his retirement at the end of the season. This could be your last chance to see Garrison Keillor himself deliver the "News from Lake Wobegon." In addition, the show will feature classic comedy sketches (such as a possible "Guy Noir" appearance) and music by special guests Heather Masse, Chris Thile, and Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks.
