Amy Loeffler is a Virginia-based videographer, writer, and reporter. She covers food, lifestyle, and agriculture trends throughout the commonwealth. Prior to reporting for WMRA she worked on freelance projects for print and online media outlets including The Raleigh News and Observer, Saveur.com, and Northern Virginia Magazine. She is currently working on a book about the global history of salt.
Amy received her master’s degree in interactive journalism from American University in 2011. She is also an alumna of the University of South Carolina and the University of Florida with degrees in international studies and Latin American Studies. She’s lived abroad in Spain, Brazil, and Cambodia.
