"Air Play" is WMRA's own round-up of classical music recorded right around here. We'll hear the Oratorio Society of Virginia and JMU chamber, orchestral and choral groups (including music from Brahms’ German Requiem), all of which have concerts in the next two weeks. Also, taking the long view, a look ahead to the Shenandoah Valley Bach Festival.

Andrew Kaufman "wrote the book" on understanding Tolstoy (its called Understanding Tolstoy). He enlightened NPR on Tues 11/20/2012 as Tolstoy's epic novel of passion and despair, Anna Karenina, hits the big screen.

Artist Glenn Richardson, showing in WMRA's "DinoHenge Whacktasticness" art exhibit, says:

I was born in Montana and grew up in Virginia, but have never felt like I belong in any
